Version 6 Build 1219 released.

Implemented several new features – the most important are: punching shear in slabs, timber design according EC5, SRSS scheme for load-case combining, globalization of labels for auxiliary axes...

There is more detailed list of new features in this Build:

  • separate visibility of slabs from walls and beams from columns (described in user manual, chapter 2.7)
  • editing of parameters for spiral surface (3.1.9)
  • new features in load-case combination defining – “Always combine with” and “Alternative” (3.2.1)
  • globalization of labels for auxiliary axes (3.4.1.2)
  • SRSS scheme for load-case combining (6.2.2)
  • punching shear in slabs (6.12.3)
  • steel design – improved stress control report (6.13.3)
  • timber design according EC (6.14.6 – 6.14.10)
  • improved export of graphic blocks in bmp and dxf (6.18.4)
  • improved generation of reports for entity groups – added new types of sorting (6.19)
  • paper editor – added option for changing order of chapters in “Annex” folder (6.21.7)
  • concrete design SNIP – N 2, СНиП 2.01.07-85 - change of partial coefficients for snow load (in combining scheme)

Except those new features, the program contains certain number of other improvements, optimizations and minor corrections.

Version 6 build 1112 released.

Implemented several new features – the most important are: relative deflection in slabs, additional functionality in editing of graphical blocks, dynamic list for view picking, user defined shortcuts for commands...

This is more detailed list of new features in Build 1112:

  • preserving current visibility state of model
  • list for view picking
  • level’s plan view is enabled for inclined views
  • multiple font change in drawing parameters dialog
  • user defined shortcuts for activating commands
  • relative deflection of slabs
  • DXF export of graphical block from report view
  • improved functionality in graphical blocks editing – multiple text selection, move and delete
  • command ‘Save’ in report view

Except those new features, the program contains some improvements and minor corrections.

Official presentation of program Tower 6

Radimpex Software in cooperation with Faculty of Civil Engineering in Belgrade, organizing presentation of program Tower 6. The presentation will be performed in Friday, 28-th March 2008. in 12h, in Ceremonious Hall of Faculty of Civil Engineering in Belgrade.

Version 6 Build 1040 released.

The most important new features are related with generation of reports for selected group of entities and invoking new Slovenian seismic codes (SLO EC8). Beside that, this version contains numerous improvements, optimizations and bug-fixes. New Tower has been released - Version 6 !

New version presents significant improvement of program Tower 5 and was created based on requests and needs of its numerous users. The list of the most significant novelties introduced in Version 6 were published on [migration]Migration[/migration]** page. The Migration page is dedicated to users of Tower 5, for quick and easy migration to Version 6. Free functional DEMO version of program Tower 6 is available. Version 5.5 build 6126 released.

This version contains several minor corrections. The most important are related with drawing of prestress cables and replacing cross-sections in steel design. Also, this version contains some necessary adjustments for allowing parallel usage of Tower 5 and Tower 6 on the same computer.

Version 5.5 build 6121 released.

This version contains several fixes.

  • Ordering of load case combinations may become incorrect after repeated solve (analysis). No impact to results or design.
  • Influences in slab, for multimodal seismic load cases for "support regions" (Mx, My) was not initialized.
  • In some cases deleted generated textual report blocks stayed not completely deleted in document, wasting the space.

Version 5.5 build 6120 released.

This version contains several minor corrections.

  • Increasing of accuracy (by tolerance decreasing) in reinforcement calculation. In some specific and very rare cases, noticed significant increase of reinforcement amount due small variation of influences.
  • Unsymmetrical I section - small changes in stirrup calculation and reinforcement adopting procedure.
  • Correction in fissure and flexion calculation for eccentric and/or rotated cross section.

Version 5.5 build 6117 released.

This version contains one correction in calculation of fissures and one minor correction related with reinforcement addopting in "I" and "T" sections designed with reinforced scheme No 2.

Version 5.5 build 6115 released.

This version contains just one modification - in PBAB87 concrete design, slenderness limit for ignore of buckling effects (for moveable model) is set to 25.
